4 days on-ice and off- training
High-level skills and exercises will help players develop:
Skating speed, agility, lateral quickness, stride mechanics, and edgework
Body contact and positioning to improve gap control, strengthen balance and practice proper checking technique
Stickhandling and passing to develop puck control, precision and confidence
Shooting technique to improve quickness, accuracy and power
Small area battles and game decision making
Stick positioning- stick on puck (Stick-Hit-Pin)
Off-ice will consist of explosiveness, agility, quick feet and strength and conditioning exercises.
